| Ryan Woodworks Ultimate V8 Supercar Experience at Calder Park. |
|

December 2008
The final round of the 2008 V8 Supercar Championship was held at Oran Park Raceway. It was a fitting way to say goodbye after 40 years of racing, to finish the 2008 V8 Supercar Season there.
Whilst the 2008 V8 Supercar Championship has finished for the year, most V8 Supercar teams are still working hard. The week following the Grand Finale at Oran Park is utilized by the teams for practice, and “Ride Days”, or ‘Hotlaps” as they are more widely known, for the Team Sponsors.
As a Team Sponsor, Ryan Woodworks was able to take advantage of the “Hotlaps” that they were offered in their sponsorship and organize some competitions throughout the year. Offering customers the opportunity to enter and win the Ultimate V8 Experience, a hotlap with Team BOC in their V8 Supercars.
One competition was held at Ryan Woodworks VIP Product Launch in September, and the second one was held in November, where all customers that made a purchase over $200 could go into the draw to Win. Both competitions were received with a great deal of enthusiasm from our customers, with each customer wanting to enter the competition and placing their orders for their chance to win.
Paul Ryan, Managing Director, and Kathleen Ryan from Ryan Woodworks made their way down to Calder Park Raceway early Friday morning to meet up with the two lucky winners, Aaron Bach & Aaron Palmer, for their long awaited hotlaps with Andrew Jones & Cameron McConville in their VE Commodores.
“It was amazing! I have never experienced anything like it before. Cameron handled the car with expert precision and took me for the ride of my life. It is amazing to watch everything outside just fly by in seconds. No sooner have you jumped in the car, been belted in, you are off and racing, and then before you know it you are back in pit lane being helped out of the car so the next person can jump in. Thank you so much to Kim and Cameron for providing me with this opportunity.” said Kathleen Ryan.
“Our two competition Winners had a fantastic time. They were both so excited about winning the competitions and going for their hotlaps. Kathleen was very lucky to be in the right place at the right time, as she scored a bonus hotlap. Kim Jones couldn’t let her leave the track with out one. The whole Team was working very hard to get 120 Hotlaps done on Friday before the rain set in. They did an amazing job, they were so well organised. I’d like to thank Kim and Brad and the Team for the opportunity they provided us this year and everything they did for us. We have had a great time following the Team’s progress and attending the rounds. I’d like to wish the Team at BJR a happy and safe Christmas and all the best for the New Year.” Concluded Paul Ryan, Ryan Woodworks Managing Director.

Ryan Woodworks Newsletter - July 11th, 2008
The Bishops Pastoral Staff

Ryan Woodworks Managing Director, Paul Ryan, recently completed turning a pastoral staff that was commissioned by Bishop Peter Stasiuk C.Ss.R from the Ukranian Catholic Cathedral, North Melbourne.
Bishop Stasiuk wanted his new pastoral staff to be made from a distinctive Australian timber; Australian Blackwood. Bishop Stasiuk will be attending World Youth Day (WYD) in Sydney with his newly acquired Australian blackwood pastoral staff. One of the main reasons behind the commissioning of the project was that Bishop Stasiuk wanted to take his new staff to the WYD.
There are a few unique features to the pastoral staff; it is made up of three seperate turnings, these turnings fit together to form a single staff. This design aspect assists with travel purposes. The staff can be disassembled and stored in a brief case while travelling, and then assembled when required.

World Youth Day Sydney 2008 "World Youth Day (WYD) is the largest youth event in the world and will be held in Sydney from Tuesday 15 to Sunday 20 July 2008.
Organised by the Catholic Church, WYD brings together young people from around the globe to celebrate and learn about their faith on a more regular basis.
WYD08 will mark the first visit of his Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to Australia."

| Ryan Woodworks & Team BOC get set to Turn the Tables in 2008. |
|
Saturday, 9 February 2008
Ryan Woodworks are delighted to announce that they will once again be part of Team BOC’s sponsorship line up for the 2008 V8 Supercar Championship Series.
“We thoroughly enjoyed our involvement with Team BOC last year. The wonderful service, friendship and experience that Kim Jones and Brad Jones provided our family and small company during 2007 were fantastic,” says Paul Ryan, Ryan Woodworks Director.
“The damaged 2007 Team BOC V8 Supercar panels we have on display in our showroom, photos taken with the drivers at the race meets and signed merchandise have become a huge discussion point with our customers and suppliers.”
Ryan Woodworks are excited about the bold new moves Team BOC have made this year, unveiling the switching of manufacturers from Ford to Holden, and the signing of driver Cameron McConville to race alongside Andrew Jones.
Team BOC have also acquired two VE Commodores from HRT, driven by Todd Kelly and Mark Scaife in 2007. Todd Kelly won the final round at Phillip Island in 2007 in his car.
“We are looking forward to the 2008 V8 Supercar Championship Series,” says Paul Ryan. “Watching Andrew Jones & Cameron McConville fly round the race track in their new VE Commodores with Team BOC war paint will be an awesome sight.”
“We would like to thank Kim Jones and Team BOC for preparing a sponsorship package for our company for the new season.”
“On behalf of all of us here at Ryan Woodworks, we wish Kim, Brad, Andrew, Cameron and the team the very best of luck for this season.”

| Team BOC Ride Day @ Calder Park Raceway. |
|
8/12/07
The V8 Supercar season’s final round of the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship was held at Phillip Island Raceway 30/11/07 – 2/12/07 with Garth Tander, Toll HSV Dealer Team, taking out the Championship Title, with only two points the separating Tander and Jamie Whincup, Team Vodafone.
Team BOC finished the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship with one car in the top 20 for the final race. It was a difficult weekend for Team BOC with power steering gremlins and other incidents throughout the races resulting in the cars not completing the race or finishing further up the field than they would have liked.
Whilst the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship has finished for the year, most V8 Supercar teams are still working hard. The week following the Grand Finale at Phillip Island is utilized by the teams for practice, and “Ride Days”, or ‘Hotlaps” as they are more widely known, for the Team Sponsors.
Team BOC held their first ride day at Calder Park Raceway, Melbourne, on Tuesday 4th December 2007 with their second ride day due to take place at Eastern Creek Raceway, Sydney, later in the week.
Ryan Woodworks was one of those lucky team sponsors that would be joining Team BOC at Calder Park Raceway for a couple of hotlaps. During the year Ryan Woodworks ran a competition whereby one lucky person could win the chance to go for a hotlap with Team BOC on their Ride Day at Calder Park. The competition finished in October, the lucky winner of the competition was Eddie Kozole.
Eddie Kozole and Ryan Woodworks Director, Paul Ryan, made their way down to Calder Park Raceway early Tuesday morning for their long awaited hotlaps with Andrew Jones in his #12 Falcon. Whilst they were waiting for their turn Brad Jones, Team BOC’s Team Manager, stopped and had a quick chat to Eddie & Paul, and posed for some photos. Andrew Jones took Eddie and Paul for their heart pounding hotlaps around the circuit.
“The thrill of going for my hotlap with Andy is something I will never forget, the skill and discipline of the drivers as they maneuver their vehicles around the corners of the track, and their intense concentration. It was amazing watching the way their feet moved on the pedals, the control they have over each aspect of the car. It was amazing.” said Mr Ryan.

|
22/9/07
Ryan Woodworks made there first appearance at Round 9 of the V8 Supercars at Sandown Raceway last weekend with their logo appearing on both Team BOC Falcons for the first enduro race of the season.
It was a very exciting time for Ryan Woodworks Director, Paul Ryan, “It was fantastic to see our logo on both of the Team BOC Falcons as they raced around the track over the weekend, it was an amazing experience that I will never forget”
Team BOC welcomed Ryan Woodworks and their guests to the V8 Supercar Paddock with a pit tour of their garage, and an opportunity to get close and personal with the cars, and lets not forget the chance to view and touch the Ryan Woodworks logo on each Falcon.
Mr. Ryan’s daughters were photographed next the Ryan Woodworks logo’s on the car and can be seen below.
The weekend was full of highs and lows for Team BOC. Andrew Jones and Simon Wills were paired up in the #12 Falcon, while Damien White and Christian Murchison were paired up in the #14 Falcon. Christian Murchison was called in at the last minute to take Brad Jones spot in the #14 Falcon due to injury. Brad Jones is focusing his attention on being fit and ready to compete in the Supercheap Auto 1000 at Mount Panorama next month.
The first practice started well with Jones slotting the car into the top 10 in the first session and remaining there for the remainder of the day. Both cars were showing a lot of speed during the practice sessions but unfortunately due to power steering problems in both cars on Sunday, it resulted in both cars withdrawing from the race early in the piece.
Ryan Woodworks logo’s will be remaining on both cars for the remainder of the enduro races. So keep you eye out for us at Bathurst!
The next round of the V8 Supercar Championship Series will be Supercheap Auto 1000 at Mount Panorama motor racing circuit, 3rd – 7th October 2007.

| TEAM BOC & RYAN WOODWORKS HEAD TO WINTON!. |
|
24/5/07
Team BOC & Ryan Woodworks head to Winton!
Ryan Woodworks joined Team BOC at Round 4 of the V8 Supercar Championship at Winton Motor Raceway over the weekend.
Team BOC welcomed Ryan Woodworks to their domain in the V8 Supercar Paddock with a pit tour of their garage, along with the inside scoop on the cars, the drivers and the racing.
Team BOC’s co-owner Brad Jones announced his immediate retirement from V8 Supercar racing the week leading up to Round 4 at Winton Raceway. Brad Jones will be watching the remainder of the season from the side lines.
The weekend saw the changing of the guard for the Albury based team as New Zealander, Simon Wills stepped up to the plate to take control of the #14 Team BOC BF Falcon.
At the end of the pit tour, the Ryan Family was introduced to Andrew Jones and Simon Wills. They took time to sign posters and programs, and pose for photos. Jones and Wills enjoyed a spirited chat with Ryan Woodworks Director, Paul Ryan. Mr Ryan extended a warm welcome to Wills and wished him all the best for the remaining season.
The weekend was full of highs and lows for Team BOC. The highest point was when Andrew Jones scored his first points for the season and the team, finishing in 10th position in race two at Winton Motor Raceway on Sunday.
Simon Wills showed speed and determination in the first race of the weekend finishing in 16th position, just outside of earning his first points for the season. He endured a nasty re-introduction to the category, being turned around in races two and three which resulted in dropping to the rear of the field.
The next round of the V8 Supercar Championship Series is from Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway on the June long weekend – June 9 to 11.

| Ryan Woodworks first V8 Supercar Round - Clipsal 500. |
|

24th March 2007
The first round of the V8 Supercars, Clipsal 500, went off with a bang in Adelaide over the weekend, 1st - 4th March 2007. Ryan Woodworks were there to join in with all the action, and excitement out on the track.
Now you might be asking yourself why Ryan Woodworks were present at the first of many of the V8 Supercar rounds, well the answer to that question is quite simple. Ryan Woodworks have joined the sponsorship line-up for the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship Season.
We are proud to announce that we are sponsoring Team BOC’s, Brad and Andrew Jones.
Ryan Woodworks sent their Marketing Manager, Lee Ryan, along as a representative for the first round of the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship Season. Lee spent her time in Adelaide with Team BOC in their Pit area, watching the cars being prepped for each race, the tyre and fuel changes throughout the race, and getting to know Brad and Andrew Jones, and the team.
Ryan Woodworks would like to wish Brad and Andrew, and the team the best of luck for the season.
The Ryan Woodworks supported Team BOC BF Falcon’s will be on track for the second round of the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship Series, the Bigpond 400 in Barbagallo, 23rd – 25th March.

| Ryan Woodworks Joins Team BOC for Season 2007. |
|
March 2007
Team BOC would like to welcome Ryan Woodworks to its sponsorship lineup for the 2007 V8 Supercar Championship Series.
Ryan Woodworks are a growing family business, supplying quality furniture, verandah, staircase and custom matched components to the building and DIY industries. Established in 1988 in Paul and Jenny Ryan’s backyard, the business now resides in a 13,000s/f factory in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
“We are delighted to have a company like Ryan Woodworks in Team BOC’s Partner Portfolio for 2007,” said Team BOC’s Kim Jones.
“They are a business that, while not in the traditional motorsport sponsorship market, can see the benefit in being involved in V8 Supercars.”
“Given that Ryan Woodworks is a family business, like Team BOC, we were able to work closely with Paul and Jenny to ensure that we could put a package together that satisfied the needs of both businesses.”
This is the first year that Ryan Woodworks has been involved in V8 Supercar sponsorship and they feel that V8 Supercars is a perfect fit for their market.
Ryan Woodworks Director Paul Ryan said V8 Supercar sponsorship is something that has excited the woodworking company over the past year and a viable opportunity had presented itself for 2007.
“I’d like to thank Brad and Kim Jones for their willingness to package a sponsorship deal that met all of our needs. We were nervous about the large investment that V8 Supercars demands, so as this is our initial entry we wanted to get it right the first time and BJR have certainly made that happen.”
“We are very much looking forward to seeing the results throughout the season and on behalf of all of us here at Ryan Woodworks, we wish Brad, Andrew and the team the very best of luck for this season.”

| SCOTS CHURCH RESTORATIONS. |
|

April 2006
Ryan Woodworks makes their mark in History as they play a part in the restoration of Scot’s Church, a place of worship and great historical importance.
Scots Church was originally completed in 1874 during the ministry of Rev. Irving Hertherington. The architect responsible for this fine building was Joseph Reed, of Reed & Barnes.
As areas of the Church began to deteriorate with time, it was decided that the Church should be restored and resurrected to its original beauty.
Ryan Woodworks were approached at the end of 2005 to assist with the restoration, in particular, the turnings located on the roof that had rotted over time.
The rotted turnings were carefully removed from the roof of the church and provided as samples to Paul Ryan, Ryan Woodworks.
Photographs of the restoration process can be viewed below; the removal of the turning and the replacement.
These images can also be located on our website www.ryanwoodworks.com.au/photogallery in the Photo Gallery/custom turnings.
